Something Borrowed

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

A long and happy marriage is assured when a bride carries or wears each of these items on her wedding day. For instance, wearing a necklace from a favorite aunt or grandmother who had a good marriage is believed to invoke the same in the new bride.

Problem is the Aunt Gretta's outdated 3 strand pearl choker necklace is not your style and doesn't go with your sleek, modern wedding dress.

And let's face it, most of us don't have the bankroll to afford exactly what we want when it comes to the luxuries in our lives; luxuries like jewelry, especially jewelry for special occasions, like our wedding day!

Or do we?

Do you ever wish you just hit up your fairy godmother for that pair of earrings or a necklace set you have always cherished ? You know the ones, you saw at a gallery or an upscale jewelry store, the ones that were going for 10 times your annual salary? Oh, well, maybe you just have to give up that dream because you just can't afford it!

Or can you? We think so! We even think we found your fairy godmother and her name is ..........

This pearl and crystal set was custom designed (new), using freshwater pearls, (old), and spare beads from the wedding dress (borrowed) from crystals from grandmother's necklace (blue)
