I love it when people do nice things, especially when it helps young people...Taylor Swift is one example of celebrities gone good when she raised $1200.00 by putting her prom dress on the auction block. Proceeds help fund the work of Donate My Dress, the first national network of free prom dress organizations across the U.S.
Who but a the rich and famous has a closet full of fabulous gowns that may never be worn again? Thanks to Taylor and Miley Cyrus and Ashely Greene, girls who otherwise could not afford prom will get to choose the dress of there dreams.

Speaking of Becca, have you heard of Rebecca Kirtman, who single-handedly collected and distributed over 250 prom dresses to needy girls in South Florida so that they could attend their high school prom? Becca's closet was created to honor the work of Rebecca who passed away in an automobile accident in August 2003
Becca's Closet is a national, non-profit organization that donates formal dresses to high school girls who are unable to afford to purchase them. Becca's Closet also awards scholarships to deserving high school students. Find a chapter near you!
